A Woodworking Journey of Creation and Self-Affirmation for Youth | July 23–25, 2025

A Woodworking Journey of Creation and Self-Affirmation for Youth | July 23–25, 2025

Rexon, driven by a spirit of love for society and a commitment to passing down experience, hosted a three-day woodworking camp at its headquarters. Rooted in Rexon Industrial’s long-standing belief—that with our hands we not only create tangible works, but also build confidence and transform the future—this camp embodies the company’s values. With 54 years of expertise in woodworking machinery manufacturing, Rexon has developed both a profound emotional bond and a strong professional identity with woodworking. We understand that behind every machine lies the wisdom and sweat of countless hands. The Rexon Foundation extended this spirit by joining hands with the Mustard Seed Mission’s youth empowerment program, guiding young people to rediscover the value and possibilities of craftsmanship through hands-on learning. Organized by the Rexon Foundation in collaboration with the Mustard Seed Mission, the camp provided a stage for youth to step beyond textbooks and into authentic experiences. Participants not only crafted their own woodworking pieces but also learned to face challenges, solve problems, and gradually build self-confidence. We believe that every young person holds limitless potential—given the right guidance and inspiration, they can thrive through real-world practice. We are especially grateful to the professional teachers and assistants from Tung-Shih Senior Industrial Vocational School’s Furniture Design Department, who dedicated themselves to delivering solid technical training and safety guidance. Beyond teaching woodworking skills, they inspired youth to explore the aesthetics and artistry of woodworking. Over the three-day program, we witnessed participants progress from unfamiliarity to independently completing their projects. Their focus and smiles were truly moving. Rexon Industrial volunteers were also fully engaged throughout the camp, offering operational support, companionship, and encouragement—embodying the warmth and sincerity of corporate volunteerism. Through their actions, they demonstrated that businesses can thrive together with society, where both professionalism and compassion can empower youth growth. This woodworking camp was not only a heartfelt initiative but also a meaningful response to the needs of today’s youth. We believe that by planting the seeds of exploration, the road ahead will grow stronger and richer. We sincerely thank every partner and young participant who helped turn this aspiration into a beautiful reality. A two-minute video has been produced to capture these touching moments. We warmly invite you to watch 👉 https://youtu.be/Z-UppHCWezc
