From Practice to Progress: Rexon Industrial's CSO Alena Wang Returns to Her Alma Mater to Share ESG Implementation Experience

On May 2, 2025, Ms. Alena Wang, Director and Chief Sustainability Officer of Rexon Industrial Corp., was invited back to Feng Chia University to share the company’s journey in advancing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) transformation. Addressing students and faculty members from the Departments of Public Finance and Statistics, Ms. Wang emphasized that companies must take concrete actions in response to global net-zero commitments and growing supply chain disclosure requirements, embedding sustainability into the core of business operations.
From carbon footprint accounting and governance framework development to energy management and supplier collaboration, Ms. Wang remarked, “ESG is not a sprint—it’s a marathon that requires patience and persistence.” She elaborated on Rexon’s step-by-step approach to building sustainable momentum, and highlighted the importance of system design, cross-functional communication, and cultural adaptation.
