Taiwan Golden Root Award

“The 18th Annual Taiwan Golden Root Award” was held on December 30, 2021 and selected by the Taiwan Industrial Technology Association (TITA), honors Taiwanese enterprises that are rooted in Taiwan and exemplify global positioning and competitiveness. This year, 7 enterprises received the awards, presented by former Vice President and Academia Sinica Academician - Chien-Jen Chen, recognizing their contributions to Taiwan's industry.
The winners of the Golden Root Award are as follows:
“General Enterprise Award”: Ta Ya Electric Wire & Cable Co., Ltd., Pacific Hospital Supply Co., Ltd., Shinkong Synthetic Fibers Corporation and Advanced Ion Beam Technology, Inc.;
“Small & Medium Enterprise Award”: King's Ground Biotech Co., Ltd. and Taroko Door & Window Technologies, Inc.;
“Special Recognition Award of Industrial Technology”: Rexon Industrial Corp., Ltd.
This Golden Root Award acknowledged these enterprises that have made remarkable contributions to Taiwan's economy and society during the pandemic. Their achievements serve as models and benchmarks for businesses worldwide.
“Despite the global impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Taiwan has demonstrated remarkable resilience and caught the world's attention. The 7 award-winning enterprises are exemplars of successful models that have deeply rooted themselves in Taiwan while expanding globally,” said by Dr. Fuh-Sheng Shieu, the President of National Chung Hsing University, assumed the position of the 7th Chairman of TITA.
