Gold Trade Award

Bureau of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) commissioned the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) to hold the "Gold Trade Award and Meet Taiwan Award" ceremony today (September 4, 2020). The awards were presented by the Economic Affairs Minister Mei-hua Wang for the "International Trade Award".
Taiwan is an export-oriented country and exports have contributed to over 60% of Taiwan's economic growth with a trade dependency ratio as high as 96%. Since 1994, the Ministry of Economic Affairs has annually awarded the "Golden Trade Award" to recognize companies with excellent export performance and significant contributions to Taiwan's trade.
The "International Trade Award" is given to 12 winning enterprises in various product categories based on their export performance and growth rate in the previous year.
In 2020, the winners of this Award include: Multi-Advance Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (Agriculture), Simosa Oil Co., Ltd. (Minerals), Dairen Chemical Corporation (Chemicals), Cheng Shin Rubber Ind. Co., Ltd. (Plastics), Little King Global Co., Ltd. (Textiles), Ton Yi Industrial Corporation (Metals), Applied Materials Taiwan, Ltd. (Machinery), Quanta Computer Inc. (Information & Communications), Chipbond Technology Corporation (Electrical Machinery & Electronics), Giant Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (Shipping Transport), Benq Materials Corp. (Optical & Precision Instruments) and Rexon Industrial Corp., Ltd. (Others).
